Located on the outer dock on the 2nd floor, this uncommon Sitka lodging opportunity offers commanding views of Sitka Channel vessel activities and islands to the Northwest. Original cannery-era exposed timbers, tasteful appointments and cozy furnishings create a truly unique experience for those seeking a memorable get-a-way. The Loft's 1200 sf layout can comfortably accommodate families or groups of up to ten people, with one private bedroom with a queen bed, one semi-private berth room with two XL twins, two LaCrosse full sleeper sofas, and a futon sleeper chair in the skylight alcove (great for kids). A spacious fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining and living areas, two bathrooms and laundry facilities complete the amenities.

Terrific Place
The Loft was a great place for my husband and me. As the interior photos show, it is beautifully decorated. It is also well equipped with everything we needed. You do have to walk up a long flight of stairs, as it is a loft. Also this is a working dock with fish processing businesses and working boats. It is located about .5 miles from the popular downtown area. None of this was a problem for us. We walked to and from the popular areas and always felt safe. Everyone was friendly. Next door is a fish processing room that we used. It was clean and also well equipped. A great benefit for cleaning and packaging 80 lbs of fish. Finally, I can't say enough about Barb, the on-site manager. I've never worked with a more helpful and friendly contact. If we get back to Sitka, I won't even consider staying at a different place. Highly recommend it.

Fabulous Stay
Fisherman’s Quay Loft was where my family stayed during a recent trip to Sitka for an open water swim. This property provided everything we needed to be exceptionally comfortable. The proximity to downtown made it easy to get around without a car and the amenities of the loft provided all the necessities to cook in-house. The vista from the Loft was spectacular. We could watch marine life along with the water vessels day or night from the comfort of the indoors or right along the dock for a super up close view. For us that are foreign to the water world (Nebraska), this venue was magnificent. NICE PLACE!
Best Rental in Sitka
I highly recommend Fishermans Quay for your stay in Sitka! We stayed as two families and had plenty of room. It is spacious and beautiful. We felt right at home! The location could not be better as it sits atop a private dock overlooking the water. You'll have access to kayaks and bikes right at your doorstep! Barb was there to help with anything we needed! She was amazing! We do a lot of traveling and this by far was one of our favorite trips!

This place was perfect for our get away as a couple. The hospitality Barb provided was beyond expectation- she is a treasure. The Quay was extremely well maintained and had the best stocked kitchen for cooking I have found in any other rental. It was nice to be able to go to the local grocery stores (best one being a few miles North outside of town) and cook many of our meals. It was wonderful to have kayaks and bikes at our disposal when you would typically have to rent these. The kayaking was fabulous. And the location is optimum in Sitka- just a few minutes walk to the heart of downtown. Being on the dock we wondered what the noise level would be. But this was a very quiet stay outside of some passing boat noise and the expected seagulls- sounds that just add to the location's romance. There is one master and one other small bedroom with two beds. So while this rental could fit quite a few in the main room pull outs etc, it would be close quarters. This would be perfect for a family or two couples traveling together if one couple didn't mind the small bedroom, having a curtain for a door, and pushing the beds together. Bottom line is, for a couple, I doubt you would find anything better or more charming in Sitka or most travel destinations.

What a wonderful time we had in Sitka at Fisherman's Quay. Everything you could need is at your doorstep. The owners were amazing. They couldn't do enough to make our stay great. The Loft is decorated beautifully and has an amazing kitchen that has everything you need. We kayaked, watched sea lions, eagles and multitudes of birds from our balcony. I can't think of anything that we wanted that they didn't provide or direct us to. The loft's view of the mountains and the sunsets were beyond expectations. My dream would be to take my children and grandchildren here in the future. Thank you Barb and Kris for an amazing stay at your beautiful loft.

We love staying at the Loft at Fisherman's Quay. We can dock our boat right there, kayak and bike right out the door, and walk anywhere downtown in Sitka. The Loft is very comfortable with every convenience you could want and everyone there is very friendly and helpful.

The rental was beautiful! We really loved it and made great use of the kayaks and bikes. Barb was the PERFECT on site manager. There when you needed her but otherwise have us our privacy and space. She was delightful!

My family stayed at the FQ for our first visit to Alaska and we could not have had better accommodations! The Loft was beautifully remodeled and provided us all the items we needed to enjoy our stay. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, spices and the appliances were new and clean. The beds were comfortable and we even plugged in our phone to listen to Pandora through the built-in speakers while doing a puzzle at the table. The Loft's proximity to town and fishing was just a pleasant walk down the street and the view from the deck (and dock) was unparalleled. We used the guest kayaks and fishing rods daily as well as the bikes. All the information for what Sitka had to offer was provided inside the unit so we just had to organize our agenda for the week. Very pleasant stay and extremely memorable!

Minimum Stay: A minimum stay of 3 nights required during standard rental dates. Different minimum night stay may apply to special rental periods and/or individual rentals. See each rental to view the minimum night stay requirement.
Short Stay Reservations are less than 30 nights. The following tax structure applies to short stay reservations: Taxes: 6% Bed Tax Year Round for stays less than 30 nights 6% Sales Tax Summer April 1 - September 30 5% Sales tax Winter Oct 1 - April 30
Stays 30 nights or longer are sales and bed tax exempt.
Base Rate: See rates table for specific base rate details. The base rate is up to 4 guests. Each additional guest over 4 will be charged an additional $50 per guest per stay. Different rates may apply throughout the year.
Cleaning Fee: See each individual rental for specific departure cleaning fee requirements. Standard for each short stay reservation, if unit is left excessively dirty an excessive cleaning fee will be charged at $50 per hour, plus tax, above the standard departure cleaning fee, if any.
Extended stay reservations are 30 nights or longer. Extended stay reservations require a $100 non refundable cleaning fee. On departure, if above normal cleaning is needed, such as carpets needing shampooed, the additional costs of these services will be charged to the guest. The costs varies with each rental and depends on size of rental and the condition it is left in.
To Reserve a Rental: A 35% deposit is required to reserve a rental, with balance due 60 days prior to arrival. A reservation is considered confirmed when dates are held or blocked for guest and deposit is received.
Cancellation Policy: No charge on cancellations made within 24 hours of booking. A 10% cancellation fee on stays cancelled 60 days or greater before arrival, or departure. No refund for stays cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival or departure. Extended Stay reservations require a 30 day written notice to cancel reservation after the reservation has begun.
Other: Property Protection Program: Our properties and their contents are valuable and reasonable care should be taken with them during their rental. Our company, including the participating rental property homeowners we represent, is an additionally-insured participant in a Property Protection Program that reimburses certain costs for unintentional accidental damage to our properties during their rental occupancy. Depending on the property, it will either be a $45 or $69 charge to the guest to cover the fee of the program. See each individual property for exact cost.
No smoking inside any rental. Smoking inside will result in a $600 Cleaning Fee automatically. An additional cleaning fee will be assessed if cigarettes are littered around the exterior of property. Please dispose of cigarettes responsibly.
No pets allowed without prior approval and only in select homes. A Pet Fee is required, see the Rental Agreement for more information on the Pet Fee.
